Promotion of sustainable growth in Palestine through an environmentally safe, innovative and economically valuable treatment of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

The international project, called “Promotion of sustainable growth in Palestine through an environmentally safe, innovative and economically valuable treatment of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment)”, has as its main objective the creation of a virtuous example of WEEE treatment plant. WEEE Project was coordinated by Cesvi Onlus, in collaboration with industry experts such as Erica Soc. Coop., Arab Engineers local engineering firm and TREE. The reference territory of the project is a portion of the Hebron Governorate in the south of the West Bank (West Bank) and includes in particular the municipalities of Idhna, Deir Samit and Beit Awwa. The RAEE pilot treatment plant, with a line dedicated to disassembly and one dedicated to shredding, was inaugurated in December 2020 in the governorate of Hebron.
